Workshops and demonstrations represent the merging of theory and practice, spiced up with local natural and cultural heritage in all areas and for all generations.

Education

Park Škocjanske jame being a protected area, where sustainable development is the guideline to excellence, our mission is to spread knowledge and strengthen connections with and among participants of all generations.

Together with the local population the Park wishes to continue, enhance and establish new cooperations through:

- the Network of Schools of  Park Škocjanske jame (primary school level),

- the Network of Faculties (university level),

- seminars with various natural science and social science contents

- permanent forms of education and cooperation on a national and international level like, for example, yearly meetings with other managers of UNESCO, Ramsar and MAB protected areas about the exchange of knowledge.
